La primera mujer en dar la vuelta al mundo. ¡Tengo muchas ganas de aprender cómo se crían lombrices! Ayer me crucé con una buganvilla y me sorprendió mucho verla en la calle. Te escribo desde Copenhague: se parece a Helsinki y al mismo tiempo es muy distinto. Vine por trabajo, y estoy muy contenta porque las condiciones y la compañía son de gran apoyo. Hoy, barajando mis cartas mientras pensaba en la siembra y la cosecha, me salió la carta de la Bougainvillea. La primera descripción que conocemos de esta planta la hizo Jeanne Barret en el siglo XVIII. ¡Te debo su historia!

The first woman to tour the world. I want to learn how to breed earthworms! Yesterday, I stumbled across a bougainvillea. I was very surprised to see it on the street. I write to you from Copenhagen: it’s similar to Helsinki, and at the same time very different. I came for work, and I’m quite happy; the companionship and the working conditions are of great support. Today, as I shuffled my cards thinking about sowing and harvesting, Bougainvillea popped up. The first description we have of this plant dates from the 18th century and was written by Jeanne Barret. I will tell you her story another time!
