In the summer of 2018, I created an Instagram account (@mariadecandama) and launched a series of #minute_performances. During 60 days, I uploaded every day a “still” one minute video, and then took a 60-day break. My motivation was to share materials I was keeping to myself, but also to start assessing the content of these videos as performance documentation. I did this exercise twice and then decided to delete my Instagram account. However, I keep making minute performances for mapping and as field notes.
